Our best holiday was the week after our wedding in Capri, Italy. We stayed in Capri for a few extra days after the wedding chaos ended. It was the perfect way to start our married life together, to adjust to being newlyweds and of course to visit the amazing sights too!

AND THE BEST HOTEL YOU'VE STAYED IN?  

We love the Four Seasons in Chicago, as well as the Trump International in New York near Central Park. Both are our homes away from home. 

WHAT DO YOU ALWAYS TAKE WITH YOU?  

Eye shades are always a necessity – both for the plane and in case the hotel room doesn't get dark enough, which is really annoying!

WHAT DO YOU NEED FOR A PERFECT HOLIDAY?  

Our family. As long as the three of us are together, we are happy anywhere in the world!

WHAT'S YOUR BEST PIECE OF TRAVEL ADVICE?

Bring a big scarf with you – they're a great all-rounder. From helping to combat chilly airplanes to acting as a barrier against your sneezing or coughing neighbour, a scarf has a variety of uses!

AND YOUR WORST EXPERIENCE ON HOLIDAY?

Our worst experience was in Hawaii. The morning after we landed there was an earthquake! Thankfully, no one was hurt but our trip was turned upside down and we left early. Definitely not the best way to start a holiday.

WHAT IS THE BIGGEST PACKING MISTAKE YOU'VE MADE?

Packing too much stuff! After years of experience, I now know to just pack two of everything and no more than that. When you're on vacation, you never end up wearing all the fancy items you think you're going to wear and tend to go casual the whole time, so it's best to just pack what you realistically will wear. 

WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO NEXT?  

Bill and I have never been to Bali or the Maldives. They both look so peaceful and relaxing, so we'd love to experience them.
