THE Dubbo teams in the Central Western District's Golf Association pennants competition continue to impress and sides in all four divisions will contest this weekend's semi-finals.
The Division 1 side defeated Wellington at Mudgee on Sunday while the other three sides all had wins over Orange's Wentworth club.
This weekend the Division 1 side travels to Wellington to play Parkes, Division 2 plays Forbes at Duntryleague, Division 3 plays Bathurst at Wellington and Division 4 plays Bathurst at Duntryleague.
In Division 1 last Sunday the Dubbo team won 3-2 with James Gleeson (2up), Ross Horrocks (2 and 1) and Pat Wilson (7 and 5) all victorious while David Gleeson (2 and 1) and Connor Schubert (down) both lost.
Youngster James Gleeson has been one of Dubbo's most impressive in the early rounds, along with Jones Comerford, who didn't play in the most recent round.
Nick Coggan and Alex Haylock, who were both successful on Sunday, have been standouts in Division 2 while Johnathon and Mitchell Bourne have shown real talent in Divisions 3 and 4 respectively.
