IT may have been a bottom-of-the-table clash but the Macquarie versus RSL-Colts Youth Development (YD) clash was the highlight of round 12 in the Kelly Cup on Saturday.

More than 400 runs were scored in the match as Macquarie chased down Colts YD's total of 207 for the loss of seven wickets.
Chad O'Brien was the star for the Blues, making 96 not out as his side kept their finals hopes alive.
The two old heads of the Colts side had earlier put them in a strong position with Mick Davis making 89 and Glenn Armstrong scoring 46.
The men in red then must have thought the game was theirs when they reduced Macquarie to 5-50 but O'Brien came to the crease and played a match-winning knock.
He combined with Dave Murray (47) for a 116-run partnership but fell just short of his century as Blake Birchall (14 not out) came out and hit the winning runs.
Joint-competition leaders Rugby kept hold of their position at the top with a 67-run win over CYMS at Lady Cutler South 3 on Saturday.
The win was set up by Wayne Munro (78) and Sam Jefferies (64) as the defending premiers made 211 before CYMS could only manage 164 in reply.
After winning the toss and batting Rugby lost Craig Wood (1) early but from there the runs began to flow and they posted a more than competitive total.
James 'Busta' Nelson and Jason Root took two wickets each with Root, not for the first time this season, taking a wicket with his very first ball.
Dan Duffy (36), Andrew Moreton (25) and Craig Graham (24) all got starts for CYMS but Munro sealed man-of-the-match honours with 3-15.
Newtown Gold maintained their spot alongside Rugby at the summit of the competition as they recorded a routine six-wicket win over South Dubbo at John McGrath 1.
The Gold bowlers put on a clinic, making run-scoring difficult and restricted Souths to 8-134 from their 40 overs before Craig Pettit (50) and James Amey (36) put on 77 for the first wicket to set up the win.
Amey had earlier taken two wickets, as had Tye Webb, to keep the Souths run scoring at a minimum with only Tom Mitchell 924), Tom Saul (22) and John Byrne (20) getting starts.
While Pettit and Amey both fell in the run chase they had done their job and wrapped up the win in the 28th over.
Tom Skinner made his return from injury an important one as he top-scored for Newtown Black in their win over RSL-Colts.
Skinner underwent reconstruction surgery after seriously damaging his knee during the AFL season but he made 40 not out on Saturday in his side's total of 128.
Despite the total being lower than most sides would hope for, it proved more than enough as Colts were then rolled for just 51.
Opening bowler Andrew Gardiner (4-21) was the chief destroyer while Adam Wheeler (3-15) was as equally impressive with the new ball.
