8.46: How about some sport news?
*PARKES captain Anthony Heraghty believes yesterday's Western Premier League grand final win over Dubbo is one of the most special moments in his career. Heraghty, who has played for Parkes for close to a decade, led the way with 56 early as the visitors reached the target of 154 for the loss of just two wickets at Lady Cutler 1.
*RSL-COLTS' Wes Giddings says his side will have a lot to think about during the week as they consider the idea of pushing for an outright in their match against Macquarie. Colts dominated day one of the Whitney Cup clash at No. 2 Oval on Saturday, dismissing the Blues for just 123 before finishing the day at 1-73 in reply.
*A BUMPER crowd at Geurie was on hand to witness Gulgong trainer Brett Thompson take home the 2015 Picnic Cup on Saturday, with Saturlina taking home the prize. It was a hard-fought race with the five-year-old mare edging out the Garry Lunn-trained Strong by a head to claim victory in the day's feature race.
8.39: I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! aired last night. What did you think?
Here's what one expert had to say:
Ten should be commended for its casting. Any "celebrity" show is bound to attract "who are these people?" snark, but for the most part, I'm A Celebrity… has gathered proper celebs. If you've not heard of the likes of Merv Hughes, Chrissie Swan, or Leisel Jones, that's really just a demonstration of your overwhelming ignorance of the world you live in.
The exceptions are travel blogger Tyson Mayr and former bad-version-of-Hi-5 member Lauren Brandt, who are actually banned from saying the name of the show under truth in advertising laws.

8.15: After two gripping tie-break sets that lasted two hours and 32 minutes and sent newspaper editors home for the night, Andy Murray jumped the world No.1 and led 2-0 in the all-important third set.
Across the net Djokovic was unsure on his feet, his jelly legs creating the impression that always-the-bridesmaid Murray would finally walk down the aisle at the Australian Open.
Then, all of a sudden, the world No.1 rebounded, holding serve to love and re-gaining the ascendancy.
From 3-3 in the third he reeled off nine games in a row in less than an hour to put his name on the trophy for a fifth time. Whatever was happening to Djokovic – several times later described by the Serbian as a 'physical crisis' – his vanquished opponent didn't deal with the situation well.
8.03: In regional news:
*ORANGE fans of the reality television series The Block on Saturday had the chance to ask for renovating tips from two of the show’s stars Kyal and Kara Demmrich. The couple were here to help Beaumont Tiles celebrate the opening of its first Orange store and talk to people about the latest tiling, design and DIY trends.
*ORANGE resident Bernadette Holmes says Orange City Council workers should adhere to the same rules as the rest of the community when transporting items through the CBD. Mrs Holmes said she was worried about her safety when she recently travelled behind a council ute carrying an unsecured load of road repair equipment.
*THE Bathurst Bullet was a popular way to travel during the school holidays, with more than 2300 customers using the service to travel to Sydney. The Bullet was introduced in October 2012 as a daily return service from Bathurst to Sydney after the community lobbied for its introduction.
*THE family of a teenage boy who took his own life after allegedly being bullied at work say they hope their son’s story will lead to a greater awareness about the devastating consequences of harassment. 7.38: AN investigation is under way into the cause of two fires that broke out at the same Dubbo house within a few hours of each other at a house in West Dubbo.
Emergency services responded about 9.30pm on Saturday following reports the Wattle Street house was alight.
Upon arrival about 16 firefighters onboard trucks from Dubbo and Delroy stations saw "large volumes of smoke" coming from the unoccupied property, according to NSW Fire and Rescue Dubbo station officer Mick Medlin.
Flames had taken hold of a back room, he said, but firefighters in breathing apparatus entered the property and extinguished the fire within a short time.
7.24: Making local headlines this morning:
*DUBBO's median house price is at an all-time high. Latest figures show it reached $318,000 for the year ending November 30, 2014. The growth in the median house price stemmed from competition and a demand for more housing, according to Real Estate Institute NSW Orana division spokesperson Rod Crowfoot.
*DUBBO Hospital Emergency Department Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (EEN), Kez Buckman has had a few jobs, but said she is more than happy to continue nursing for as long as she can.
