Dubbo captain Tim Cox summed up his side's performance in one sentence after the defending Western Premier League (WPL) champions crashed to an seven-wicket loss to Parkes in yesterday's grand final at Lady Cutler 1.
On a pitch that provided plenty of life early, Parkes won the toss and after electing to bowl they rolled Dubbo for just 153.
Parkes captain Anthony Heraghty and veteran Peter Yelland then both made half centuries as the visitors cruised to the total for the loss of just two wickets.
The Parkes side celebrated when Vince Umbers hit the match-winning boundary as they gained revenge for losing last season's decider to Dubbo at their own home ground.
