The family of an 18-year-old Geurie teen allegedly knocked unconscious by a man during an altercation inside a Wellington Hotel on Friday night say the attack was cowardly.

"We are totally disgusted with this act. Our boy is lucky, at best he may only have a fractured jaw." the family said.
"We are very upset about the incident."
Police say two men, aged 18 and 36, were allegedly involved in a verbal altercation inside licensed premises on Lee Street.
A short time later, the 36-year-old man allegedly struck the head of the younger man when his back was turned, causing the teen to fall to the ground unconscious.
A number of witnesses came to the injured man's aid while the other man walked out of the licensed premises onto Lee Street.
Police and ambulance paramedics were called to the scene and the teen was taken to Wellington Hospital for treatment after he regained consciousness.
The 18-year-old man sustained cuts inside his cheek and soreness to both sides of his jaw.
About 3am on Saturday a 36-year-old Wellington man was arrested and taken to Wellington Police Station where he was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He was refused bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court this morning.
