Both eight-a-side teams slogged it out to register a 68-run draw at No. 1 Oval.
Dubbo mayor and DCC team member Mathew Dickerson said Bill Kelly (1-4) was named Man of the Match.
"He was the only player in our team to take a wicket and (scored) nine runs but mainly for his brilliant diving fielding," he said.
Dickerson said the aim of the match was to strengthen the relationship between OROC and the DCC and of course have fun.
The likes of John Walkom, Bill McAnally and Rod Towney were all in action and Dickerson said everyone involved enjoyed the match.
"It's all good fun, we're very tight with OROC council," he said.
"Dubbo is important to OROC and OROC is important to Dubbo council.
"The cricket match was a fun way to strengthen our relationship."
Both sides fought hard during the modified match. Teams batted in pairs for two overs, a loss of a wicket resulted in a five-run subtraction and all players bowled one over.
OROC registered a couple of late wickets to set DCC a task of nine runs off the last over.
DCC were unable to reach their target, but Dickerson said his team gave it their best effort.
"Cricket is always fun, you don't know where it's going to go," he said.
The Dubbo Mayor said the game will become an annual feature of the calendar and the option of further DCC/ OROC matches is being investigated.
"The next OROC meeting we might play lawn bowls," he said.
