A Toyota Prado four-wheel drive allegedly collided with a motorcycle on The Esses on Mount Panorama at approximately 12.30pm on Sunday.

Police yesterday charged the 58-year-old driver of the four-wheel drive with dangerous driving occasioning death, negligent driving occasioning death, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, causing bodily harm by misconduct and negligent driving.
The Sydney-based driver was released on conditional bail to appear at Bathurst Local Court on February 23, 2015 and had his licence suspended.
Police say they are unable to comment further on the circumstances that led to the crash, but Chifley Local Area Command crime manager Detective Inspector Luke Rankin (pictured) said they are continuing to investigate.
“The investigation into the collision is being carried out by the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit and continues,” he said.
Inspector Rankin went on to say the incident was a tragedy and a reminder of the need for caution on Mount Panorama.
“It is obviously a tragic event that a 14-year-old girl has both lost her father and been injured as the result of a collision and it is particularly tragic when it appears the collision was preventable,” he said.
Police are calling for any witnesses to the crash, or the circumstances leading up to it, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
