The senior side will play a long-awaited home game in 2015 after Bathurst's Carrington Park was given the nod to host their round one clash against Northern Tigers on May 30.
The venue was determined at the CRL board meeting in Sydney last Friday.
Western's last game on home soil in the top grade was way back in 2007 when the side recorded a victory over Northern Rivers at Mudgee.
The Bathurst event will be a feast of football for western region rugby league fans, with the Northern Rivers and Riverina clash also scheduled to be played on the same day.
A successful preliminary campaign in 2015 by the Rams could see Western back on home soil for the decider on June 20.
Mudgee's Glen Willow Sports Complex will host next year's Country Championship finals in all grades from under-16s right through to Tier 1.
The last time the finals were held in the western region was in 2013, when Dubbo's Apex Oval hosted the event, with the Tier 1 competition being taken out by Illawarra, who sprung a surprise on the heavily-favoured Newcastle.
"It is terrific to have the Country Championship finals in the western area and also round one in Bathurst," CRL Western regional manager Peter Clarke said.
"The best of the best in the bush will be on show so it is a great opportunity for Western."
Group 10 secretary Peter McDonald was at last week's meeting and he said there was no hesitation for Mudgee to host the governing body's finals.
"The facilities for starters. It's good enough to host City-Country match and we know how good the facilities are. They're second to none," McDonald said.
"To have any major country games is a boost for the area.
"We've got the NRL at Bathurst in March. That's a big coup for us as well.
"It just shows that the area is a stronghold for rugby league."
