From 9am to midnight on opening day 100 per cent of the arena's turnover is being donated to Rob and Amy McIntyre to help with their son Max.
Max contracted bacterial meningitis in March this year and doctors told the family he had only days to live.
However, since then, Max has continue to fight on and now his parents are exploring the possibility of treatments in America or Canada.
Flip Out Dubbo franchisee Jake Matthews said having had experience with an ill child himself, he knew he wanted to do what he could for the McIntyres.
"As soon as we heard they were in Bear Cottage we knew we had to do something," Mr Matthews said.
Around $3,800 was raised for Flip Out for Max before the day had even begun through the presale of tickets and online donations.
"If everybody turned up we could really achieve something amazing. We should be able to bust $10,000 easily," Mr Matthews said.
"I'd really like to be blown away myself. I'd like someone to say we've raised x amount and just be blown away."
Mr Matthews said the response to the opening was fantastic and the community had really come out to support the day.
The area contains 52 trampolines covering 550 square metres and comprised of 7,200 springs, 302 metres of padding and 707 metres of steel.
