Known As Typo has had eight career starts and is yet to finish outside the top three, with three firsts, four seconds and a third.
Today the Scott Watson-trained runner will start as favourite in the 516m, fifth event of the day but will face challenges from the likes of Backyard Wrecker and Alisha Casey.
Backyard Wrecker hasn't won in her previous five starts but trainer Carl Moss is no stranger to success at Dawson Park while the lightly-raced Alisha Casey will be keen to stretch out over 516 after two 414m runs at Lithgow in her last two starts.
Irinka Lexie, who hasn't raced since June, will also be one to watch while the field is rounded out by the Colin Williams-trained Bub And Sonia, Leighton Winter's Total Security and Charlm Spirit, trained by Stephen Cleary.
Wellington trainer Ron Steel has had plenty to celebrate recently with victories at Dubbo and Bathurst and he will be well represented again today.
Betsie Cargo will be the first of Steel's kennel to race when she jumps from box seven in the Blues Meats Stakes (318m) and will look to improve her already impressive Dawson Park record, where she has won half of the races she's started.
Steel will also have Isabella Cargo, fresh from winning at Bathurst on Monday, in the Pinecrest Kennels Stakes (318m) and Suzi Cargo in the Unibet Lucky Last Stakes (400m).
Race two will be a maiden event and local favourite Charmaine Roberts will have two runners looking for career win number one, Zipping Scarlett and Zipping Carlton.
The Matthew Duncan-trained Troy's Boy will also be looking to impress after showing promise when trialling at Bathurst last week.
Today's 10-race meeting begins at 3.06pm with the final race leaving the boxes at 6.09pm.
