Four Dubbo players were selected in the under-16s side while a further five were chosen in the under-16s.
Tyler Woodrow, Patrick Berryman, Ben Knaggs and Marty Jeffrey were all named in the 16s while the 14s Western side will feature the talents of Tom Atlee, Thomas Nelson, James Nelson, Daniel Duffy and Henry Railz.
The under-14s side will travel to Newcastle in January for the Kookaburra Cup and Dubbo's Trevor Thomas, who has been named manager of the side, believes the squad has the talent to impress.
"You never really know until you get there and play that first game but on paper we should do really well," he said.
"Everybody in the squad is there because they have performed this season in club or rep cricket, with Dubbo in the Lachlan competition this season the boys have been getting more exposure to rep cricket and hopefully that leads to a better situation."
Thomas was particularly impressed with his side's fast bowling stocks with James 'Busta' Nelson joining Ben Glasheen and Nic Hall as the side's quicks.
"It's a really good fast bowling attack, we've got three genuine quicks," he said.
"Then backing them up we've got Henry Pearce and Ben Mitchell who bowl some medium pace and Ryan Campbell is the spinner."
Tom Atlee will provide a valuable asset with both bat and ball while Railz, Duffy and Thomas Nelson will beef up the batting lineup.
Bathurst's Nic Broes looks set to be one of the stars with the bat after making a classy 53 during the weekend's matches but Nelson and Duffy starred for The Valleys, coming together at 3-22 before building a huge partnership.
Nelson, who has consistently racked up big scores in club and representative cricket this season, finished with 84no while Duffy made 70 and both will be keen to build on that form at Newcastle.
Thomas also spoke of the under-16s squad and said the experience the Dubbo players received from playing senior cricket regularly helped their cause.
Marty Jeffrey has confirmed himself as a regular in the Whitney Cup leading Newtown side while Knaggs, Berryman and Woodrow are also regulars in first and second grade.
"They're getting to play a lot of cricket now and even in the under-16s the standard of that competition is close to the top end of second grade," he said.
