It successfully completed the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards Survey.
All of the 209 core action requirements and all but six of the 47 developmental action requirements were met.
Accreditation demonstrates Lourdes commitment to providing outstanding quality patient care, Health Service manager Alison Loudon said.
"This is a remarkable achievement and once again the staff at Lourdes has proved that the services provided are outstanding," she said.
Lourdes Hospital and Community Health Service mission and values are articulated throughout key planning and evaluation, and are displayed by the staff in their everyday work, according to lead surveyor Kym Volp.
The surveyors also found that "patient's rights are respected and their engagement in their care is well supported" and that Lourdes is "steeped in the local community health service history and is well integrated in supporting patients and families across a large area of the state".
Action was undertaken immediately to address all of the recommendations received by the surveying team.
The NSQHS Standards Survey is a stringent process, Mrs Loudon said.
"The survey is an extensive check to ensure we run a safe and quality service," she said.
"Surveyors interview community members, staff and patients and go over the place with a fine tooth comb."
Ensuring continued compliance with all of the NSQHS standards is an ongoing focus and commitment of the entire team at Lourdes Hospital and Community Health Service, Mrs Loudon said.
