Police have released CCTV images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries into an armed robbery in the state's west earlier this month.

About 3.40pm on Friday November 7, a woman was working at the counter of a clothing store, on Dubbo Street, Warren when a man approached the counter, threatening her with a syringe and demanding money.
She handed over cash and the man ran from the location.
The attendant was not injured.
Police were contacted and Darling River Local Area Command attended and started an investigation.
Police believe the man may not be from the local area.
He is of slim build, about 180cm tall, aged between 25 and 30, wearing a white long-sleeved shirt with blue sleeves and grey trousers.
Anyone with information about the incident has been asked to contact police.
