As well as hearing the complete line-up, yesterday's audiences were treated to samples of the performances, with live teasers from acts including the Dubbo Theatre Company, the Dubbo and District Concert Band and Joseph Simons.
With a theme of Shake Things Up for 2015, DRTCC manager Linda Christof made the announcement in front of a large audience.
"I'm very excited to have 29 shows this season but just as exciting is the fact we had more than 400 at the launch. In previous years we have had about 250 people but I think the launch is really important because it gives people an opportunity to see previews of shows and decide what they might like to attend."
The season features a line up of plays, comedies, children's shows and musical performances.
"We have the Australian Ballet Dancers Company, Bangarra Dance Theatre and great local performances from the Dubbo Theatre Company including Evita and the comedy Fawlty Towers," Ms Christof said.
"There is a big following of Fawlty Towers in Dubbo and this is a new series of episodes they will be covering so we expect that to be popular.
"From what I can gather, the one people are most talking about is the Paris Underground. It's very different to what we have programmed in the past. It will be a magical, illusion and burlesque show and should be very exciting."
