DUBBO: Friday, November 21 - Shoyoen 12th Anniversary - Dubbo City Council is inviting residents to celebrate the 12th Anniversary of Shoyoen (Japanese Garden) with an evening of family entertainment. Residents will be entertained by local and internationally-acclaimed performers including the South Dubbo Men’s Shed Band, Orana Dance Centre, Taiko no Wa - Japanese drummers and the Shimmering Gems. Japanese tea sampling will provide the opportunity for residents to experience a taste of authentic Japanese culture and a stunning floating lantern display will light up the night. A variety of food and drink stalls will be on offer, along with a jumping castle and face painting for kids. Bring your own picnic rugs and chairs.
