Rosser, who led the club to Group 11 premierships in 2010 and 2013, will move to northern NSW for next season and will link with the Cudgen Hornets in the Northern Rivers Premiership.
Speaking with a metropolitan newspaper despite multiple attempts by the Daily Liberal to contact him about the story, Rosser admitted a recent change to the Spacemen committee had made his decision to leave his home-town club an easier one.
"It's a whole new committee and they still haven't even touched base with me about next year," he said.
"I haven't spoken to any of them post-season at all.
"I don't want to be disrespectful but they're all non-football people.
"Maybe they thought I was going anyway or maybe they were going to push me out even if I'd wanted to stay. I don't know.
"But I'm leaving on good terms. We've had some success and the club has money in the bank so hopefully Parkes will continue to be successful."
The Parkes club recently had a major overhaul of its committee, with Lionel Harris taking over from Warwick Wheeldon as president.
He will be aided by secretary Cassie Sargent, senior vice-president Michael Dumesny, junior vice-president Ricky Newham, treasurer Craig Dumesny and registrar Scott Burns, as well as an enthusiastic committee that features Dennis Moran, the man expected to take over the coaching role at the club in 2015.
