A pub is not the first place one would think to hold a health clinic, but that is exactly what the South Dubbo Tavern are doing to support men's wellbeing.

In partnership with Dubbo Grove Pharmacy, the free PUBClinic will be held at the South Dubbo Tavern to help equip men with the tools they need to manage their health.
The event, which will be held on Wednesday, November 19 at 6pm, will have pharmacists, a personal trainer, physiotherapist and various health professionals on the night to discuss what health options are available at Dubbo.
Most men of Dubbo will know of someone with a heart problem or blood pressure, and many know of someone who has suffered with mental health issues, but unfortunately not many know about their own health.
Which is why Dubbo Grove Pharmacy owner, Rochelle Baillie decided to team together with the South Dubbo Tavern in order to break this cycle.
Ms Baillie said holding the men's health clinic at the South Dubbo Tavern was about making sure the men were in a comfortable atmosphere.
"Having the PUBClinic at the South Dubbo Tavern will help to break the stigma of a clinical environment," Ms Baillie said.
Ms Baillie said it would be a casual evening and all men were welcome to attend.
South Dubbo Tavern licensee, Lee Green said he knew many men about his age who did not see a GP on a regular basis, including himself.
"Men are so busy with work and family, that they often forget about their health."
Mr Green said holding the men's health clinic at the South Dubbo Tavern would help the men to feel a bit more relaxed.
"It is a comfortable place for people to come in. Not just men, but women and families too. Wives are concerned about their husband's or partner's health." Mr Green said.
