St John's and Dubbo CYMS junior turned Penrith Panther Isaah Yeo will be the special guest at the event, which helps raise funds for the organisation that provides support for players and their families when they fall on tough times.
Local Men of League president Martin Cook said the golf day was an ideal chance for supporters of the organisation to come together and enjoy a social outing and swap old stories.
"The Men of League is great because it helps so many people, regardless of what level of the game they have played," Cook said.
"Events like the golf day bring past players together, and everyone is there for the social aspect as well as to support the charity.
"Brad Fittler did a fantastic job as our guest speaker at last year's golf day and arranged a corporate box which was purchased by two fantastic supporters of Men of League, Brett Harvey from Brett Harvey Design and Construction and Central West Golf Centre Pro Craig Mears.
"Roosters CEO Brian Canavan and 'Freddie' hold the work of the Men of League very dear to their hearts for which we're very grateful.
"Proceeds raised from their donation will go towards the support of the men, women and children of the rugby league family."
As well as the main item, several other prizes will be up for grabs including signed City and Country jerseys from their match in Dubbo this year, a piece of Andrew Johns 'Eighth Immortal' memorabilia and a special piece called The Entertainers, which features six of the most elite players to have pulled on a rugby league jersey including Graeme Langlands and the NFL-bound Jarryd Hayne.
If you can't make the day but are interested in making a bid, Men of League Western Region treasurer Michael Quade (0488 474 760) will be accepting phone bids prior to 5pm today.
Aside from the golf day, the Men of League is also helping to organise a charity dinner at the Dubbo RSL Memorial Club auditorium on November 22 to help the family of Chris Thompson.
The former Group 11 representative, who spent time with Wellington, Dubbo Macquarie and Dubbo CYMS, tragically died earlier this month at the age of 31 as a result of injuries suffered in a single-vehicle accident near Geurie in August.
He leaves behind wife Chrystal and three children - Alaqua, Mataeo and Chandon.
"That fundraiser will be used to establish a trust fund that will solely ensure Chris and Chrystal's kids get a quality education, which is something he really wanted for them," Cook said.
Tickets for that event will go on sale from Monday.
