Batting first, Blue showed their power-hitting against the PCYC pitcher with a seven-run opening innings.
The SWAT Blue side's domination showed when they backed up their batting with an equally strong fielding display to shut PCYC down, getting three of their first four batters out to have PCYC back out fielding again with no score on the board.
The second innings was fairly even, SWAT Blue scored five more runs while PCYC's batting got into their groove, scoring four runs.
The third innings was very similar with SWAT Blue being shut down quickly with only the good base stealing efforts of Jodie McDougall providing the solitary single run scored.
Chris Conn scored PCYC's lone home run before they were back in the field and the final innings was similar to the first, with SWAT Blue blasting another seven runs home. PCYC's first three batters were back in the dugout.
The final score was SWAT Blue 20 defeating PCYC 5.
Sporties took the honours in the grand final rematch against an understrength OSM Turtles. Captain Ben Hocking again showed his skill with both bat and ball, crossing the plate twice out of his three times batting and also took any catch that was hit in his vicinity.
The difference between the two teams was definitely in the pitching with seasoned Sporties pitcher Mark Ferguson proving too much for the newer players on the OSM Turtles side, who only scored three runs all game.
Unfortunately for the Turtles Hocking was unable to pitch due to injury and this allowed Sporties to hit at will. The final score was Sporties 17 OSM Turtles 3.
This week should see a ripper of a game between the two undefeated teams in the Open's Mixed Competition with SWAT Blue taking on Sporties.

The Social Mixed Competition had disappointing results with both games recording a win by forfeit.
Although both games went ahead as friendly matches the lack of players turning up must be frustrating for the players who are there.

The Women's Competition saw the return of the two BOQ teams, with both recording wins.
BOQ Blue had a win by forfeit over SWAT Sky Blue while BOQ White and SWAT Red fought out a great contest.
BOQ White got out to the early lead, scoring seven runs and holding SWAT Red to zero in the first innings.
The roles were reversed in the second dig with SWAT Red finding their stride, crossing the plate four times then holding White to a zero score.
In the third innings both teams traded blows with SWAT Red scoring four runs, putting them ahead by one.
BOQ kept their cool though and scored seven runs in their final batting chance to take the game 14-8.
