The DREAM Festival's "first commissioned lantern masterpiece" and an array of creations by the community are set to glow in the centre of Dubbo tonight.

The large rhino work initiated by Taronga Western Plains Zoo, musical instruments and exotic birds are scheduled to proceed along Talbragar Street to Victoria Park for the DREAM Lantern Parade.
Zoo general manager Matthew Fuller was yesterday eagerly anticipating their lantern's debut at the event, starting at 7.30pm.
"We're really looking forward to this year's DREAM Lantern Parade and excited to have a stunning rhino lantern to represent the zoo and highlight our conservation efforts for rhinos," he said.
A small number of lanterns will be available for purchase at the DREAM Twilight Markets between 4pm and 6pm only or until sold out for those who would like to participate.
DREAM committee member Michelle Dean said the community and non-for-profit organisations had jumped on board to support both the DREAM Twilight Markets and DREAM Lantern Parade.
"The DREAM Twilight Markets has more than 60 stalls this year which is three times the number of last year's event," she said.
LightnUp Inc chief and artistic director Jyllie Jackson from Lismore said it was an honour to create a wonderful creature such as the endangered white rhinoceros for the Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
