The fair will run from 3.30pm to 8:30pm - showcasing the school, and what it has to offer, to the general public, MAGS Parents and Friends Committee member,Renee Harrison, said.
"This is an event that brings together our whole school community and provides an opportunity to showcase our grounds and for families from throughout Dubbo to come along and soak up the atmosphere," she said.
"It is particularly popular with families who want to see what Macquarie has to offer and to appreciate the sense of fun and community spirit that can exists at the school."
Busk fest will join the sideshow alley rides, show food and stalls as new and exciting feature of the fair, Mrs Harrison said.
"This year we have everything from traditional dodgem cars and tea cups to a bungee run, mechanical bull, dunking machines, sumo wrestling, mini train and trampolines," she said.
"We will have a giant pirate ship filled with sand where the younger children can dig for buried treasure, as well as the ever-popular face painting, spray-on tattoos and lucky dips."
The new addition is a busking competition open to all ages to showcase local talent.
Entry into junior and senior competitions is free and cash prizes will be awarded to the best performers.
Amy Olney MAGS Parents and Friends Committee member said she is inviting any market stall holders to contact her on 0420 928 540 if they are interested in featuring at the Spring Fair.
