Attendees came from as far as Newcastle and Sydney to wish the Order of Australia medalist a happy birthday at the Dubbo RSL Memorial Club.
The war widow of 40 years from a farm in the small town of Binnaway raised five children and maintained the farm after the untimely passing of her husband, World War II hero and much loved member of the community, Alec.
Ms Urquhart dedicated tireless hours volunteering for the RSL across 55 years.
She is the longest serving Women's Auxiliary president in Australia and also volunteered with Legacy and the local bowling club.
This amazing lady has achieved so much in her life and is called an inspiration by many who know her, but Ms Urquhart is very humble and does not think she is anything special.
She said the celebration was lovely and it was great to see everyone reunited, but did not need all the fuss.
Ms Urquhart has 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She is still very active in the community and said that is her secret to keeping young.
"You've got to keep going, that's what keeps you going," she said.
