Fresh from winning the 2014 first grade title courtesy of a grand final win over Parkes last month, the Fishies will come together to celebrate a season that also saw them make the final day of the season in both under-18s and reserve grade as well.

Unfortunately for them, their 18s were beaten by Forbes in the decider while Nyngan got the better of the reserve grade grand final.

The feature of tonight's presentation will be the awarding of the Ken McMullen Medal, named after the former CYMS captain-coach that did so much for the club during his time with them.

"We're really looking forward to the night, which will be a celebration of a successful season and an opportunity for all the volunteers who have worked so hard over the season to let their hair down," CYMS chairman Kevin Walkom said.

"The highlight will be the Ken McMullen Medal, awarded to a player who has given long service to the club and has shown their ability to play the game as well as making a contribution to developing and mentoring the young players and great clubmanship."

Candidates for the medal include Blake Tremain-Cannon, Luke Jenkins, Chris McGee and reserve grade coach Joel Rapley.

Other prestigious club awards on the night will include the Dan O'Sullivan Clubman of the Year, the Boy Tipping Player of the Year across all three grades and the Gerard Yeo player of the finals series award.

Walkom predicts the young guns to fight out the major awards in first grade, including Group 11 player of the year Jyie Chapman as well as dynamic prop Jarryn Powyer, versatile half Alex Bonham, classy fullback Keiran Shipp and goal kicking sensation Colby Pellow.
