Maddie was recently selected as one of the students for the Interstate Training Program (ITP) with The Australian Ballet School.
One day a month, Maddie will be travelling to Melbourne to be taught by some of the best ballet instructors in the country.
She is also planning to attend an intensive training session for a week in January.
The Australian Ballet School said the program serves as the most advantageous preparation for gaining a position in The Australian Ballet School's full-time program.
The full-time program is renowned for leading to contracts with The Australian Ballet or other prestigious international companies.
"We're just really, incredibly moved. It's a big achievement," said Stepping Out Dance Factory Dubbo Director Rikki Slack-Smith.
"When Maddie first called me it was one of the happiest phone calls. We laughed and we cried and we shared. She was so excited and so humbled."
Maddie said she is the most excited about meeting the famous ballerinas and people involved in The Australian Ballet.
The young ballerina was given the elite position after a nerve-racking audition in Sydney earlier in the year.
After hearing she was successful, she said her parents and family were the first people to hear the exciting news.
