The par-54 event, which will see every hole a par-3, was the brainchild of Ivor Trapman and last year's event attracted a capacity field of 156 players.
"It is a different form of golf, and if you stay still you get left behind," Trapman said.
"We tried the idea last year and it was very popular so we worked on a way we could allow more people to play and hopefully this year we can get 200 or more players.
"It's open to members and non-members, and hopefully of those non-members that play they might get a taste for golf and keep playing."
This year the organisers have two tee times scheduled on both the first and 10th holes in order to cater for a larger number of competitors, and once again a car will be up for grabs.
Five local dealerships - Golden West Holden, Sainsbury Automotive, Clancy Automotive, Dubbo City Toyota and Lindsay Mumford Suzuki - are on board as sponsors of the 18th hole, with a car up for grabs for the first person to hit a hole-in-one on that particular hole.
"Whoever hits the first hole-in-one on the 18th, if there is one, will get their choice of a car from one of the dealers involved," Trapman said.
"The dealers will also have a couple of cars each spread around the course, showcasing what they have on offer and it's a great chance for them to appeal to anyone playing who might be in the market for a new car.
"Harvey Norman are another great sponsor, and Mitre 10 as well, and they're providing prizes for holes-in-one on the other 17 holes so there's 18 chances to win for everyone that plays.
"Last year Max 'Bullseye' Reid got a hole-in-one on the second hole and walked away with a barbecue."
As well as being a fun day of golf, the Bullseye Championships have a serious side, with some fundraising being done to assist the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
"When you get such a good number of people involved in an event then it's a good chance to do some good work for a charity and the RFDS is a very worthwhile cause," Trapman said.
"This format of golf promotes people enjoying themselves so if everyone chips in a few dollars it makes for an event that is enjoyable, helps a cause and hopefully attracts a few more people to play the game of golf.
