DUBBO: "Bring Jason Home Appeal" at Dubbo RSL Club Auditorium 2pm | A$25, C$15. X Factor finalist Jason Owen, Kosmic and Reggie will all be performing through the afternoon, to help raise funds for the “Bring Jason Home Appeal”.All money from the fundraiser will help with the future care of Jason Kidman, a 36 year old Tullamore local, partner and father of two who is facing life as a paraplegic.

DUBBO: Thursday, October 16: NSW Police Rugby Championships - Teams from as far as Bourke, Lightning Ridge and Singleton will converge on Dubbo for his year’s NSW Police Country Rugby Championships. The region’s premier football venue, Apex Oval will play host to more than 150 players. Spectators welcome.
DUBBO: Friday, October 17: The "Prince of Bears" Show. Big Ted has a royal adventure as he sets out to find his castle. On the way he is joined by his friends Humpty. Little Ted, Jemima and the rest of the Play School toys. They find themselves having lots of fun and advernture along the way in small farms and in large towns but will Big Ted find his castle.
