With a large gathering of players, supporters, and sponsors the awards night was kicked off by SDW president Adam Wallbridge.
"It has been a great season for South Dubbo Wanderers Football Club," he said on the night.
"With SDW managing to qualify a side in every final series from under-13s through to first grade. It has been and is a massive achievement for our club. This show of strength is fantastic, not only for our club, but for our sport.
"Work began a few years ago on getting our club back together, rather than having a separate junior and separate senior club a few key people got together and worked out what needed to be done and how best to move forward. The hard work of many people has finally come to fruition this season and look at the result, I couldn't be happier."
After the president's address, the floor was handed over to the MC for the night Adam Stiles.
"Congratulations, especially third grade and second grade this season, making the grand final is a massive achievement," he told the crowd.
"With first grade fighting hard in the final series to be knocked out by grand finalist Orana Spurs is a massive achievement too.
"Congratulations to the club award winners, all very deserving. With two teams from last season coming together we have built a strong representation across three grade of football. It has not been without its ups and downs. A lot of hard work behind the scenes and on the training pitch has gone into this year and the achievement of all speaks for itself."
The formal proceedings were kicked off with acknowledgement of the clubs sponsors. Awards and Appreciation Certificates were presented to the Amaroo Hotel and shirt sponsors SportsCo Orana Mall, Sid's Bottle Shop, Gina's Pizza, Tile Power Dubbo, Marty's Test and Tag, Boden's Nxgen Painting and Aztec Signs Dubbo.
Phillip Dunn and Scott Watmore were joint winners of one of the night's biggest awards, the Clubperson of the Year.
Connor McDonald won the Rookie of the Year while Shaun Johnson and Blake Watmore won Defender and Attacker of the Year respectively.
In the first grade side, Chris Morton won the best and fairest while James Dowton won the coach's award and Caleb Watmore picked up the Golden Boot.
Mitchell Goodwin was the second grade best and fairest with Tommy Joseph taking home the coach's award and Josh Roberts winning the Golden Boot.
Third grade's best and fairest was Alan Smith with Liam Ireson awarded the coach's award and Sam Dunn's goals saw him pick up the Golden Boot.
A little fundraiser also happened during the night for a junior player who has suffered third degree burns and is in hospital in Sydney.
More than $500 was raised by the players and supporters throughout the night.
