Sincere thanks is given to local solicitors who gave up their time and participated in the day including Kevin Hockey & Associates, Regional Law Group, Dubbo Law, Warwick McCarthy & Co Solicitors and Booth Brown Lawyers.
Because of the significant generosity of the solicitors, nearly 60 local people had their wills prepared or changed.
The focus of the event was to raise funds for the Rural Chaplain ministry and Salvation Army officers, majors Trevor and Maree Strong, were very appreciative of the financial assistance for the work they undertook in regional areas.
The rural chaplains assist farmers by visiting them and offering counselling - often a simple chat over a cuppa.
They also help out by doing odd jobs on the farm, offering financial assistance with bills, and providing petrol and food vouchers as well as food hampers.
