The social tennis day raises money for Camp Quality while also honouring the memories of two former club members.
The first Memorial Charity day was held 1996 and since then it has raised thousands of dollars for Camp Quality Western Region, with the money going to children in need locally.
A host of prizes will be up for grabs, including memorabilia signed by international stars Bernard Tomic and Caroline Wozniacki.
The club prides itself on it's ability to punch above it's weight in fundraising, with its small size no setback when it comes to helping out.
The fact the money raised goes to the western region and stays in the local area is something else the club has always been proud of.
Priest and McLennan were both very active members of the club, being vice-president and president respectively at different times.
Both passed away after battles with cancer but their families are still heavily involved with the club and have been vital in the fundraising and organisation for today's event.
There will be some competitions played but the focus is purely on playing some fun matches while helping out a very worthy cause.
As well as the top prizes there will also be sporting goods and vouchers up for grabs.
Anyone is welcome to attend with the competition starting from 11am with the cost just $10 for adults and $5 for children under 16.
A barbecue lunch and afternoon is provided.
In other Muller Park news, the Doubles Championship were played last Sunday and there were five pairs nominated in the Men's.
After the preliminary rounds the top two teams played the final late into the afternoon. The family combination of Wes Bailey and Corey Blattman triumphed 6-4, 6-2 over Mick McDonagh and Brian Gibbons, with the final score not reflecting the standard of play.
It was a hard-fought match with every point played as if it was the Championship point. The final play of the day went to Corey Blattman who smashed an overhead shot for the game and the match. Unfortunately not enough nominations were received in the Ladies as a number of players were unavailable on the day so it was not held this year.
Members of the club are reminded there will be a working bee on Saturday at 9am in the lead up to the Memorial Day.
