It was originally planned for the attraction to reopen during the October long weekend, but this year it was opened ahead of schedule due to warmer than average weather.
The council closed the water playground on April 30 to save water and operating costs during winter and complete a full maintenance program of the water filtration system at the park.
The weekend forecast is for sunny days, with a top of 24 degrees predicted on Saturday and 26 degrees predicted on Sunday.
