8.50am: It's just two days until ALDI opens its doors for the first time. In case you missed it, here is a sneak peek at the store.
8.45am: A 10-year-old Dubbo boy has been told that he is facing 10 years if he continues his current behaviour. The boy has been accused of multiple break and enters around Dubbo.
8.35am: The Orana Camping, Caravan, 4WD, Fish and Boat Show has proved a massive success once again, with initial indications that a new attendance record has been set.
Almost 6000 people were in attendance over the first two days and Sunday was just as popular.
8.25am: In the Group 11 lower grades the results were quite as good for CYMS. The town of Nyngan was celebrating last night after the Tigers claimed reserve grade 22-20 over CYMS.
Forbes got the win in under 18s, edging out CYMS for 16-10 victory. Forbes halfback Nick Greenhalgh was man of the match.
8:15am: Congratulations to Dubbo CYMS, who are the 2014 Group 11 premiers after beating the Parkes Spacemen 34-20.
Blake Tremain-Cannon was awarded the Bob Weir Medal for man of the match after a classy performance from the five-eighth.
8am: Residents of regional NSW should be alert to any potential terror threats but the chance of an attack is low, Parkes MP Mark Coulton says.
In the wake of a counter-terrorism operation late last week that led to charges against two men Mr Coulton said Australia was well-protected by its agencies.
7.55am: Over the weekend hundreds of people stepped out in the fight against cancer at Number 1 oval on Saturday. The Orana Relay for Life managed to raise at least $63,000 for the Cancer Council.
