DUBBO: Orana Caravan and Camping, 4WD, Fish and Boats Show. 9am - 5pm. The Orana Caravan, Camping, 4WD, Fish & Boat Show is a unique event for the Dubbo Region. Held at Dubbo Showgrounds, the show offers visitors and locals an opportunity to see a huge display of various caravanning, camping and fishing The Dubbo 4WD Club provide great entertainment each year on the 4WD demonstration track.
DUBBO: Dubbo and District Relay for Life. Commencing 2pm Saturday 20th September @ 2pm, running through the night until 9am Sunday. Held at No. 1 Oval, Victoria Park.The event has three ceremonies that are held at all Relay's and they are Opening Ceremony @ 2pm, Hope/Candlelight Ceremony @ Dusk and the Closing ceremony at 8.45am Sunday morning.This years entertainment is One Proud Monkey playing at 8.30pm supported by Brandon Troutman and Macquarie Valley Mudflappers.

DUBBO: Farmers Markets. 8am-12 noon at Macquarie Lions Park. Kick start your morning with the smooth flavours of your favourite coffee and chat with friends over breakfast. The markets offer a range of seasonal fresh produce, fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and plants. There is also fresh bread, a selection of local pork, beef and lamb, award winning olive oils, preserves, jams, marinates honey, wine, nuts and so much more. The wet weather venue for the Farmers Markets is the RSL Club Resort Carpark - located in Brisbane St.
DUBBO: CONTROL ALT DELETE (CIRCUS OUT OF CONTROL) at Dubbo Regional Theatre & Convention Centre. Time - 7.30 PM Cost - Adult $38, Conc $35, Group 8+ $33, Stud $25, Child U/14 $22. Presented by The Flying Fruit Fly Circus, Albury-Wodonga. Control Alt Delete is a truly unique performance featuring 16 highly skilled young artists, aged between 10-18 years, of Australia's National Youth Circus.
DUBBO: MOVIE STARS BEHIND BARS: DESPICABLE ME. 7pm - 9.30pm. Grab the family, your picnic blankets, pillows and chairs and head down to Old Dubbo Gaol for the outdoor cinema screening of Despicable Me. Soft Drinks, movie snacks and pizza will be available. Tickets are only $10 so grab the whole family and book online now as tickets are selling fast.
DUBBO: Cricket. The cricket season begins with a bang as the Hawkesbury first grade side arrives to take on Western Zone in a pre-season trial. The Sydneysiders are bringing close to a full strength side and are determined to put in a good showing against Tim Cox and Co. Western have a strong mix of experience and youth and it is sure to be an entertaining match as the best of the bush take on the Hawks.
DUBBO: Greyhounds. There will be plenty of action at Dawson Park on Saturday evening with the Dubbo Greyhound Racing Club holding a rare twilight meeting. The recent upgrades of the lights at the track means the club can now hold night meetings and trainers are coming from near and far to win their share of the prizemoney. The first of the ten races is at 5.29pm.

DUBBO: DREAM FESTIVAL - ARTIST OF THE YEAR AWARD LUNCHEON. 1:30pm at One 7 Eight Restaurant, Dubbo RSL Club. Cost is $60. Macquarie Credit Union 2014 DREAM Festival is on this 13-25 October in Dubbo. DREAM Artist of the Year Award recognises the career and achievements of a local talent who has achieved their artistic dream and is a current professional artist. Established in 2012, the Award is designed to raise the profile of the region's arts community, specifically highlighting some of the successful artists who have emerged from the region. The successful recipient will be honoured at a dinner in October, where they will be presented with their award.
DUBBO: Rugby League. It's the biggest day on the rugby league calender with the Group 11 finals kicking off from 11am. Caltex Park is the only place you would want to be on Sunday as Dubbo CYMS chase premierships in all three grades. The Fishies take on Nyngan in the reserves, Forbes in the 18s and Parkes Spacemen in the day's main match. There is expected to be a huge crowd in attendance as the curtain comes down on another successful season.
