The Salvation Army Wills Day is a community event designed to try and relieve some of the confusion and anxiety associated with making wills, while raising funds for the extensive work with the needy.
There are several local solicitors involved in the cause this year, including Kevin Hockey & Associates.
Principal solicitor Kevin Hockey said his firm were proud to be involved in the cause.
"At Kevin Hockey & Associates, we care about our community and by helping local people put their affairs in order as well as providing a donation to the Salvos at the same time, it is one of the ways we are happy to help out," Mr Hockey said.
"At the end of the day, none of us can control what happens in life, but we can take steps to see that our family is protected and our wishes enforced in the event of death or injury."
