ALDI opens Wednesday September 24 and area manager Narelle Taylor said there will be some special treats available to mark the occasion.
Ms Taylor said not only will a local charity be holding a sausage sizzle in front of the store, but there will also be coffee tastings, fresh fruit platters and colourful balloons.
Most of the shelves have already been stocked and Ms Taylor said the products with a shorter expiry date will arrive early next week, while the fruit and bread will arrive early Wednesday morning.
The middle of the store will also be filled with weekly specials
"There'll be a range of different products that change each week. Everything from home entertainment to gym gear to garden supplies," Ms Taylor said.
An ALDI spokesperson said they are excited to show the local community why ALDI received Canstar Blue's Most Satisfied Customers 2014 award in the Supermarkets category for the third time in four years.
"Our customers can expect nothing but top quality products at great prices. We are the only major grocery retailer in Australia to list all products and prices online so our customers know the exact value they are getting when they shop at ALDI," the spokesperson said.
The new ALDI store is located at 176 Talbragar Street, Dubbo and will be open for Monday to Friday 8.30am - 8pm and Saturday to Sunday 8.30am - 7pm.
