Eighteen-year-old Brody Burgess lost his leg in August and a number of events such as the Halloween Party are taking place to help Mr Burgess raise the $100,000 needed for ongoing medical expenses, including an osteo- integrated prosthetic.
The dress up night and auction will be held at the Dubbo RSL Club auditorium and tickets will cost $60 each.
Friends of Mr Burgess also held a DJ night at the Monkey Bar on Saturday to raise additional funds.
The night involved five local DJs and every gold coin donated on entry was matched by the Monkey Bar.
Dubbo Cheer Academy furthered the fundraising efforts by holding a display night at the PCYC last month.
The academy raised $231 which allowed Mr Burgess to buy aids such as a shower seat and a support rail.
Mr Burgess' leg was severed below the knee when he was struck by a train in central Dubbo on August 9.
