NATIONAL: The legal use of cannabis by terminally ill adults in NSW is about to come a step closer with a clinical trial being established by the government.
NATIONAL: AN eight-month-old baby was taken to hospital in a critical condition on Tuesday after his mother was found dead in a house in Woonona. It’s believed the woman, aged in her 30s, may have died several days ago, leaving the baby on its own.
ORANGE: IT was standing room only at North Orange McDonald’s on Monday night as guests were given a glimpse of the new restaurant.
BATHURST: A WOMAN accused of murdering her son in Oberon last month has been refused bail following an appearance in Blayney Local Court.

DUBBO: The husband of missing woman Roxlyn Bowie was violent in a subsequent marriage and said he had killed two young boys who tried to steal from him while in Vietnam years earlier, Dubbo Coroner's Court has heard.
DUBBO: And Taronga Western Plains Zoo has welcomed a new baby hippo.
