The past two ballots of this council term have drawn just one nomination, with Cr Dickerson elected unopposed to the top job at each.

7.48: Some exciting news came out of Buckingham Palace last night as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announce they're expecting their second child.
Britain's Prince William said on Monday he was "thrilled" that his wife Kate is pregnant with their second child, but admitted it had been a "tricky few days" as she struggles with severe morning sickness.
Kate cancelled an official engagement on Monday because she is suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, the same condition that caused her to be hospitalised in 2012 when she was pregnant with her first child Prince George.
William attended the public event in Oxford without her and told reporters: "It's been a tricky few days, a week or so, but obviously we're immensely thrilled, it's great news."
He said it was still "early days, but I'm hoping things will settle down and she feels a bit better", adding: "I'm going to go back to look after her now."
The royal palace revealed the good news on Twitter.

NATIONAL: Australian troops including some elite special forces could become part of a US-led effort to train and advise local troops on the ground in Iraq. Fairfax Media understands that while no request has been made of Australia as yet, the US plans to bolster Iraqi and Kurdish forces through training and advice and would likely be eager for help from partners including Australia. It would mean Australians were on the ground in Iraq but they would not serve in combat roles.
ORANGE: A driver without a licence who drank up to three schooners before driving into a house and a light pole was fined $1800 for his efforts, but will escape a drink-driving conviction. BATHURST: Intruders got a surprise when they broke into Kings Antiques in George Street early on Saturday morning. The property backs onto the RSL car park. By the time he arrived, all the alarms had gone off.
NATIONAL: Education Minister Christopher Pyne has suggested that James Ashby may have "misinterpreted" a discussion they had in which the former speaker's aide claims the senior Liberal promised him a new job and a lawyer in the event he took legal action against his boss Peter Slipper over sexual harassment claims. Mr Pyne, who has constantly denied "specific knowledge" of Mr Ashby's sexual harassment allegations against Mr Slipper before they were made public, confirmed at a media conference in Adelaide on Monday that he had known the staffer was "uncomfortable" working for the then speaker, and was aware of rumours that long swirled around Mr Slipper.
