The students were able to visit Parliament House, Questacon, National Museum, War Memorial and Australian Institute of Sport as well as a trip to Perisher for an afternoon of fun in the snow.
The trip was a fabulous opportunity for learning, building on their peer relationships and experiencing new environments.
Class 5-6B student Justin Blanch said the excursion was a great experience for everyone.
"We went to lots of different places, and each one had lots of educational experiences to offer," he said.
"I myself learnt a lot about the great wars and the devastating effect they had on innocent lives.
"At Questacon we learnt about water conservation. I even learnt something at the snow, that water and snow makes ice. All in all, Canberra was one of the best excursions I've been on."
