On top of being the secretary of Dubbo City junior rugby league and the Dubbo and District Rugby League, Egan is also the secretary of Group 11 junior league, the secretary and registrar of the Macquarie Raiders club and also heavily involved in Western Division junior league.
For someone who devotes so much of her time to the game, Dubbo and District junior league president Neil Millgate said Egan fully deserved the honour
"She's just the go-to person for everyone," he said.
"She helps with everything and she's up to speed with it all. She's good with computers so does all that part and she's just got a great knowledge and follows through on all our commitments, from the clubs right through to the representative stuff.
"She's involved with the senior league as well and on top of it all she's just a good person, that's the main thing to go with it all."
Egan has again been heavily involved with making sure the 2014 season has run smoothly and with the grand finals of junior league being held this Saturday, Millgate said it's been a great season for the whole district.
"It's been very successful, everything has gone really well and that's what you want," he said. "The kids have got to enjoy their footy without any hiccups and everyone has done the right thing everywhere.
"The clubs at Narromine and Nyngan are going really well, it's a pleasure to go out there."
With the curtain set to come down on another year of junior league, Millgate said on top of everything running well off the field there has also be some outstanding action on it, with the local region continuing it's strong tradition of developing talented players.
"There's some really good players, our under-16s Western Division side fell just short of winning the Regional Championships and there's more good ones coming through," he said. "But that all comes from the volunteers and coaches who take the time and do more than just throw a ball around at training, they're doing extra work and pushing up the kids' skills."
