Yesterday's service was part of a four day triannual conference featuring more than 300 women from overseas and across Australia.
The ACWW unites women from different races, nationalities and creeds with the belief that peace and progress can best be advanced through friendship and working together.
The women sang three hymns dressed in traditional clothing, while the Palmer Street Singers and Joseph Thomas also sang at the service.
Held at St Brigid's Catholic Church, the service was lead by Pastor Allen Branch from Dubbo Presbyterian Church, alongside Reverend Ian Vippond from Dubbo Baptist Church and Father Reynold Jaboneta from St Brigid's.
Offering from the Ecumenical Service went to Dubbo Christian Association Inc. to assist with funding two chaplains in Dubbo schools.
As part of the conference nine Islander women attended a three day IT course to learn computer basics, such as Microsoft Word and how to use the internet.
