8.40am: If you or someone you know worked at Red Rooster in 2011 or 2012, it might be worth reading this story.
Almost half of Red Rooster's workforce were underpaid during that period.
8.30am: Some people say the internet is now 45 per cent photos and videos of pets. Today is is actually justified because it is World Dog Day.

8.20am: Narromine journalist Grace Ryan has compiled a helpful guide on what to expect at the 2014 Narromine Show on Friday and Saturday.
There will be plenty for people to look at and participate in including yard dog trials, showgirl competitions, sideshow alley and the fireworks.
8.15am: A mysterious fish that washed up on Tathra Beah on the South coast still hasn't been identified.
There has been a breakthrough of sorts with the larva being identified as a species of Laeops but further investigations are being carried out.
8.05am: There is still no relief for farmers in the north west of the state, with the small amount of rain recently doing little to ease their pain.
Politicians are reluctant to introduce new drought assistance but without it, farmers may go out of business.
Lightning Ridge farmer Robert Turnbull is facing a third straight year without an income, while spending almost $2000 a day to feed his depleted stock.
7.50am: Broken Hill police have charged a man over alleged firearm and drug offences on Tuesday.
The officers executed a search warrant on a home in Gaffney Lane and found firearms, a substance believed to be drugs and equipment that is believed to have been used in the process of making drugs.
A 32-year-old man will appear at Broken Hill Local Court today.
7.40am: It will be a sad day in Cobar today as friends and family of Daniel Howard say goodbye at his funeral.
Mr Howard was the firefighter who died while battling the blaze that destroyed Cobar's New Occidental Hotel earlier this month.
It is expected NSW Fire and Rescue Commissioner Greg Mullins will be among those in attendance.

BATHURST: Chifley police are still investigating the circumstances behind a dramatic emergency landing of a small plane near Oberon on Monday.
ORANGE: A father who crashed the family car while under the influence of cannabis, killing his daughter, has pleaded guilty in Orange District Court.
NATIONAL: Prime Minister Tony Abbott told government MPs he had to schedule an early morning visit to a cancer research centre in Melbourne on Tuesday so that he could justify billing taxpayers to be in the city for a "private function" the night before.
NATIONAL: Australian Security Intelligence Organisation boss David Irvine is expected to hit back at suggestions that Muslim leaders are not doing enough to counter extremism in their communities.

DUBBO: A 20-year-old Dubbo man has been arrested for alleged child grooming offences by police from the State Crime Command's Sex Crimes Squad.
NARROMINE: The Narromine Show is coming up this weekend and the show committee is encouraging everyone to get involved.
DUBBO:
Dubbo City Council will pressure the state government to leave Playmates Cottage where it is or come up with cash to assist in funding a replacement building.
WESTERN REGION: The government has announced bull bars on light vehicles, within a reasonable tolerance of the requirements, will be given a two-year period of exemption from the vehicle registration regulations applying to bull bars in NSW.
