The Western Region Academy of Sport (WRAS) will hold its 2014 gala presentation evening at the Orange Ex-Services Club tonight, starting at 6.30pm.

Ten of Dubbo's brightest sporting talents will be in attendance as they graduate from the elite training program.
Andrew Gee, Member for Orange will represent for the Minister for Sport and Recreation as the Academy celebrates another hugely successful year.
WRAS will host almost 300 athletes, their families, squad staff and supporters for a 'black and white celebration of the past and future'.
During the evening presentations will be made to the 2014 graduating athletes, squad staff, major awards winners, including squad athletes of the year, overall athlete of the year and the prestigious chairman's award.
As well as celebrating graduating athletes, there will also be a special presentation made to Gary and Zelma Bone on behalf of their daughter, WRAS Hall of Fame inductee Edwina Bone from Orange (WRAS 2003-2005).
Edwina Bone played a starring role for the Australian women's hockey team, the Kookaburras, as they claimed the gold medal at the recent Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
Local media personalities Ellie McDonald and Phil Cole will MC the evening.
Dubbo will be well represented on the night with a number of local talents graduating the program.
Maddi Alderdice, Jack Bush, Emma Corcoran, Kurt Eather, Luke Ensor, Courtney Granger, Courtney Hogan, Thomas Kotzur, Adam Mitchell and Grace Pilon are all Dubbo athletes who's time at WRAS is coming to an end.
