Fields were released for the meeting yesterday, with nine races featuring a total of 136 acceptances.
Each race on the program, bar the Quest-Dubbo Benchmark 64 Handicap (1420m) has a capacity field, and even that particular event has a field of 13 runners.
The main race on the day will be the Dubbo Turf Club Orana Handicap (1120m), which brings together a number of the region's top sprinters.
In-form veteran Murray's Sun, trained at Dubbo by Bridget Jones, will resume his rivalry with the Gayna Williams-prepared Conroy's Gap but the pair will face some stiff opposition.
Canberra trainer Matthew Dale will make the trek from the nation's capital with the handy Your Excellency while Ideal Position will also line up in the race.
Kylie Kennedy will back up Shadow Force after his effort to finish second over 800m at Narromine last Sunday, and adding to the race will be the Gratz Vella-trained Fair Call, which resumes from a spell but won three races on the trot at the end of his last preparation.
Meanwhile, Peter Stanley's progressive sprinter City Boots will be out to improve on her record when she lines up in the Dubbo RSL Club Resport Class 2 Handicap (1120m).
The five-year-old has only been to the races on five occasions but has won two of her past three starts, including an impressive win over 1000m at Bathurst earlier this month when resuming from a spell.
In-form apprentice Eleanor Webster-Hawes, who has been riding well of late, will take the ride on City Boots on Tuesday as her regular rider Ken Dunbar is out suspended.
Webster-Hawes' two-kilogram claim means City Boots will carry 55kg, and from gate seven the speedy mare should be able to get a good run.
Peter Nestor's recent Narromine winner Winter In Seattle will also line up in the event but didn't fare as well with the barriers, drawing out wide in gate 13.
