The club is giving the public the opportunity to come and see them in action while also raising money to help them get to an interstate carnival next month and support the family of Brody Burgess.
"His sister is in the cheer academy. We always try to help families that have issues," Dubbo Cheer Academy coach Danielle Fistr said.
"I taught Brody back in the day and his sister and mum are long-term members of the club and have supported me so we were really keen to help how we can.
"The night was designed to help the cheerleaders but then when this came along, we saw it as an opportunity to also help out Brody and his family because the ongoing medical costs and rehab are going to be expensive."
The club is preparing for its biggest event of the year, the Asia Pacific Grand Internationals and is trying to raise funds to ensure the athletes are able to make the trip.
"We have entry fees of around $85 per athlete and then you have accommodation and travel fees as well so it is expensive.
"We got to Brisbane in September for the Asia Pacific Grand Internationals where teams from America and the Philippines come to compete.
"The international teams compete in the higher levels whereas we compete in level two but it's great for these guys to see what they can strive for. It's their biggest comp of the year.
The Dubbo Cheer Academy display night will be held on Tuesday between 6.30pm and 7.30pm at the Dubbo PCYC. Entry is $5.
