The quartet, from the University of Adelaide, consists of violinists Kristian Winther and Ioana Tache, violist Stephen King and cellist Sharon Draper.

They will perform at the Macquarie Conservatorium on August 29 at 7.30pm.

The ASQ Boundless Tour will travel to major cities as well as regional New South Wales and Victoria.

Ms Tache only joined the ASQ last November and said she was looking forward to the tour.

"This program is the most stand-out moment from my career at ASQ," she said.

"We're really looking forward to getting back to basics, but still having a modern and fun energy to the concert."

Ms Tache said the concert would be enjoyed by young and old, and not only for the musically attuned.

"If families can bring their younger members it would be an excellent opportunity for them," she said.

"It's a great program as a first concert."

Bartok, Beethoven and Haydn are played during the concert, Ms Tache shared her personal favourite: "I love playing Bartok- it's quite tricky, but I always have endless time for it."

But she said she couldn't find a stand-out moment of the performance.

"The whole program is a big highlight," Ms Tache said.

The quartet are generously providing an amazing offer for Dubbo residents who cannot afford to see the concert.
