The Dubbo Rams will welcome Mark Willis back into the side when they face Canberra in their final home game of the 2014 Waratah League season tonight.
The Rams will host the Cannons at the Wool Shed, with the match to tip off at 5pm, but will do so without a noted coach.
Regular mentor Jay Forrester is still unavailable as he awaits a hearing in relation to an incident a few weeks back while Grant Cole, who filled in for last week's match against Lithgow, is also not able to be at the game.
Injured centre Luke Anderson will take on the bench responsibilities as the Rams look to finish the competition on a high.
Tonight's match will be followed by a road trip to Bathurst next Saturday to face a Goldminers side they have beaten in both previous meetings this year.
In other basketball news, Dubbo Basketball Association could field both a men's and women's team in next year's Waratah League competition with plans in motion for the female side to return to the fold.
For the past two years the Rams have only been represented in the men's competition but talks have already started about bringing the women back into the State League format.
With a group of former players keen and the probable inclusion of some of the talented juniors coming through the Dubbo system officials are confident both teams will be on the court next year.
