The possum boxes were made by Bunnings tool expert, Neil Rabbitt and a generous team of staff.
Challenge Community Services painted the boxes a lovely shade of deep green to blend in with the trees, where they will be placed.
Mandy Bye from WIRES Dubbo said the possum boxes would be distributed to various locations in the region so that possums can have a suitable home.
Ms Bye was humbled by the donations.
"Everyone has done a fantastic job," she said.
Member of Dubbo WIRES Mary Kovac said the 15 new possum boxes were desperately needed as some have recently been destroyed due to fires, storms and general wear and tear.
Mr Rabbitt and his team at Bunnings including paint and homewares expert, Jacey Kitcher made the possum boxes using plywood.
"We were going to paint the possum boxes in a camouflage colour, but we thought that would be a bit extreme," Mr Rabbitt joked.
