With second grade enjoying the weekend off, the Bullettes scored a tough 3-1 victory, third grade a 4-0 win, highlighted by 16-year old Kobe Rapley scoring the four goals, and the first grade a 5-0 victory.
The Bullettes played a Macquarie side they had beaten 7-0 earlier in the year and to Macquarie's credit they came determined to do better and this they did.
They pressured the Bullettes and scored the first goal but Emma Wells showed great determination to score a double before half-time.
Emma's hard running and pressure on the opposition defence was a feature of the day and earnt her the best and fairest points.
The second half was as tough as the first although but the Bullettes eventually got their third when Tori-Lee Canham scored from a terrific volley that left the Macquarie keeper with no chance and sealed the 3-1- win. This weekend the Bullettes play East Dubbo United (EDU) at 9am.
Third grade had a mixed day with only 11 players turning up, Rapley scoring four goals and the playing shirts being left at home (thanks Minza).
The thirds took on RSL 78s and played strongly from start to finish. Rapley was an easy choice for man of the match and he was well supported by Joey Hunt and Aaron Coyle.
This week the third grade play Newtown at 11am, while second grade return to the park against Newtown at 1pm.
First grade also played RSL 78s and for the Bulls it was a patchy performance overall which resulted in a comfortable 5-0 victory.
The 78s started well and had the better of the early exchanges but the defence of the Bulls scrambled and held them out. Three goals in a 12-minute period for the Bulls set up the victory as goals to Nathan Daniels and a double to Gareth Williams saw the half-time score at 3-nil.
The second half was tough with most play in the middle part of the field. Kobe Rapley scored his fifth goal of the day while Jonty Busch combined with his brother to score.
Veteran Mark Blyton turned back the clock to have the performance of the day while he was supported by Connor Jarrett, Joey Haylock and Kobe Rapley.
This weekend first grade plays Orana Spurs at 3pm and like all first grade games it will be another tough one this weekend.
