Country singer Lee Kernaghan will be taking to the stage at the Dubbo RSL Club Resort on Saturday, August 23.
Lee has been travelling around the country with his Beautiful Noise tour since late April this year.
Dubbo is one of his final destinations of the tour. Lee and his support act, The Wolfe Brothers, will then travel to the Gympie Muster in Queensland before adding the final touches to his next album, due to be released in January 2015.
"After the tour and along with finishing up my next album, I'll be working on a book," Lee said.
"It's mainly a collection of stories which dwell into the background of my songs, and where I was in my life when I wrote them."
Proving he is not ready to step out of the business yet, Lee said he is also working towards a new show for the Outback Spectacular on the Gold Coast.
"It's never ending," he said.
With more than a year passing since his last visit to Dubbo, Lee said he is already excited to make his return.
"As the song goes, there ain't nothing like a country crowd."
The country singer described performing to be "the greatest thrill you can ever get".
"I can't describe how passionate I am about the Australian country culture," he said.
Dubbo fans can expect to hear some new releases by Lee, but also the golden classics Outback Club and Boys From The Bush.
"I love that people can still get a kick out of the oldies," he said.
"Hearing people bust it out to She's My Ute is great."
"It's truly a great thing to think that a lot of people have grown up with my songs."
"They can have a deeper meaning for some people that even I will never understand."
Lee said his fans can expect big things on August 23.
"Tell Dubbo to wear their hats, bring their Driza-Bones and get ready for a big night."
